Even Ajay's other brands are made with oil, but this "flavor" is not. It is harder to make and process, but I can find not other maker "worth his salt" that does this without oil. Now, no other jerky will do it for me. I have never loved another jerky, except for a rare homemade at times, and I have loved Montana Banana jerky since I was a kid. There are two places here in the Sacramento county that carry it: Folsom Lake Liquors in Folsom, Ca., and L&M Liquor and Deli in Citrus Heights? Possibly Fair Oaks or Orangevale. Everyone I give some jerky to, wants more! It's popularity is underrated.SCUMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16216202814838474325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9134710340137592050.post-66400603259013216632010-10-03T15:10:41.443-07:002010-10-03T15:10:41.443-07:00Cool site and while I generally agree with this re...Cool site and while I generally agree with this review, I have to disagree with the salt comments. I suppose we all have different tolerances, but the salt is not nearly as noticeable to be as the pepper, which is a good thing.

In my opinion, this is the best jerky I've ever had. You can actually taste the real beef flavor unlike those popular brands like Jacks Links and Pemmican that have a strange glaze to them.

Too bad I can only get it at BevMo. Almost every time I go there, they are out of this style, but the other Ajays styles are still on the shelf. I guess a lot of other people like this as much as me. Looks like I'll have to pop for the $84.00 for 13 bags.Toe Cutterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03612910049841954212noreply@blogger.com
